our vision

The vision of Pierpont Hall is to continually provide a supportive living and learning community aimed at assisting undergraduate students in achieving their academic and personal goals. This vision will be realized in an atmosphere that provides for interaction among students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members from all facets of West Virginia University (WVU) which will cater to each student’s academic and personal growth. Within this setting, students will also be encouraged to discuss and share how their individual life experiences impact their academic and personal journeys here at WVU.

When discussing housing options for next year, consider living in Pierpont Hall! Offering unique programming opportunities that build community and long-lasting relationships, Pierpont is sure to be your next home away from home.

Pierpont has instilled a modified guest policy that permits residents to host overnight guests of the opposite sex for a maximum of three consecutive nights, provided they are over the age of 18 and signed in at the main desk.
